Blyss is a cabaret & theatre performer, host, and gogo dancer. Venues past and present include: Albert's Schloss (Manchester, Birmingham & Liverpool), Revolucion de Cuba (Manchester & Leeds) Firehouse and Diecast.

Prior to becoming Blyss, Jake began working professionally immediately after his first performance as a clubkid in 2017. In the years since he has cultivated his artistry and performance style, and has worked throughout the UK meeting a great deal of amazing performers and like-minded queers along the way. 

​

He has worked both as a solo artist and with the performance collectives House of Decay, Delerium, AgeOfThe, and Little Gay Brother. Credits include Charli XCX, Brooke Candy, Hercules & Love Affair, Mykki Blanco, Dennis Sulta, Homobloc, Brighton Pride, Leeds Pride, Manchester Pride, and Pornceptual (London).

Most recently, Jake featured in the 20th Anniversary Film for Manchester nightlife institution The Warehouse Project. He also did some film work for Channel 4's Everything Else Burns. Jake is currently due to film a music video for an upcoming musical project from the band Henge.

Past events include co-hosting a monthly drag brunch at Peru Perdu, Ducie Street Brunch, Fibre Drag Brunch, Eat Me Cabaret, Reload at New Union Hotel, Nayhem at Onbar, Party Mom Society, Girls on Film, Escape to Freight Island, Mischief Cabaret, Brewers, Essential, Beyond and Federation.
